You and your guests can be serenaded during the...

Ceremony:  The ceremony is performed by two guitarists that combine their voices to create beautiful two part harmony.  The idea here is to create a simpler musical texture that support the reverence of the ceremony.  Los Primos can tailor the musical arrangements and song selections to fit any ceremony.  Here is a traditional example that works for most wedding ceremonies:

Prelude - During the prelude the duo performs music to create the ambience prior to the ceremony and give the waiting guest something to listen to while the bride and groom prepare themselves to be married. 20 minutes of romantic boleros are performed. Boleros have relaxed tempo with passionate lyrics and beautiful harmonies. Should the ceremony start late, the duo will continue to perform music until the the bride and groom are ready. Examples of the most timeless boleros are "Sabor a Mi", "Gema", "Tres Regalos", "Crei", "La Gloria Eres Tu" and "Solamente Una Vez". Procession - The procession consists of two songs if there is a wedding party, and one song if there is no wedding party or very small wedding party.  The most popular procession songs in New Mexico are "Cannon in D", "Que Bonita", and "Gema". Ceremony Song - During the ceremony there is typically one song performed just before or after the exchange of vows.  The "Ave Maria" or "Bless the Broken Road" are well liked for this although any other song can be substituted. Recessional - For the recessional it is appropriate to select a song that is festive and indicative of the excitement that the couple will now be spending the rest of their lives together.  "De Colores" is a favorite although other songs can be selected. Other Songs: Los Primos can perform other songs during the ceremony such as   • "At Last"   • "What a Wonderful World"   • "Can't Help Falling in Love"   • "Love Me Tender"   • "More Than Love"   • "Can't Take My Eyes off You"     • "Till There Was You"    • "Cien Años"   • "Añillo de Compromiso"   • "Mi Linda Esposa" If they don't already know your song, they can learn it.  Fees for learning music vary with the song.

Procession or Escort - Los Primos is happy to play festive music as the newly married couple exits from the church and escort them to their awaiting limousine.  If the church and reception hall are in walking distance, Los Primos can escort the wedding couple and their guests from the church to the reception hall with celebratory music.  This is in the tradition of the "strolling mariachis."

Cocktail Hour or Reception:  Best performed by the full quartet, the cocktail hour or reception are the same in the way that they are executed.  The group will stroll from table to table or around the crowd. This gives guests the chance to be serenaded at their table, request a song, and to conversate comfortably with music in the background.  It is a tradition of Los Primos to serenade the newly married couple after they are seated at their table with one romantic ballad and another song that is appropriate for that specific couple.
